Keri-Anne Payne
|
- South African-born British swimmer, specialising in marathon open water swimming, and long-distance freestyle swimming in the pool.
- She is a two-time 10-kilometre open water world champion, and an Olympic silver medallist.
- At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, she competed in the 200-metre individual medley and 400-metre individual medley swimming events, as well as the 10-kilometre open water event, in which she placed second and won a silver medal.
- At the 2009 World Aquatics Championships, held in Rome, Payne won the 10-kilometre open water event.
- In 2011 in Shanghai, Payne reclaimed the World Championship in the 10 km Open Water event, becoming in the process the first British athlete in any sport to confirm qualification for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games.
- She took part in the 10-kilometre open water event at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, and finished fourth.
- In 2014 she won the LEN European Open Water Swimming Cup Super Final in Castellabate, Italy.
- Keri-Anne and fellow swimmer David Carry are married and are members of Warrender Baths club.

David Carry
|
- Scottish former competition swimmer who represented Great Britain in the Olympics, FINA world championships, the European championships, and Scotland in the Commonwealth Games.
- Competed internationally in freestyle and medley swimming events.
- Winner of seven medals in major international championships.
- Represented Scotland at the 2002, 2006 and 2010 Commonwealth Games.
- In 2006 he won two golds in the 400-metre freestyle and 400-metre individual medley.
- Represented Great Britain at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Sydney, competing the 400-metre freestyle and 4×200-metre freestyle relay swimming events.
- 2012 Summer Olympics in London, he swam in the 400-metre freestyle, and was a member of the British men's team in the 4x200 metre freestyle relay.
- He presently works for his former sports management company, Red Sky Management, based in Edinburgh.
- David and fellow swimmer Keri-Anne Payne are married and are members of Warrender Baths club.
